Project Overview
For decades, Newkirk Electric has been providing experienced, professional emergency crews to storm-ravaged areas across the United States to quickly restore power for electric utility customers. Crews and equipment can be mobilized within 24 hours to hurricane, tornado, snow/ice storm, wind storm, floods or other natural disaster areas.
For major hurricanes like Sandy, Rita, Katrina, and Irene, Newkirk’s crews worked 16-hour days, 7 days a week to restore power to the affected areas. The crews are accustomed to working long hours and are dedicated to getting power restored for the local residents. Our professional crews arrive prepared to do what it takes to repair overhead power lines or substations, erect utility poles, string new lines, repair ground electrical service or address other electrical needs.
