ENR Midwest completed its assessment of eligible projects for their Best Projects Awards and the Delta Energy Park, a significant project for Newkirk Electric, was named winner of the Energy/Industrial category. Newkirk Electric partnered with Barton Malow and the Lansing Board of Water and Light to complete this impressive new 250MW natural gas-fired power plant. The Delta Energy Park was one of the most significant projects in Newkirk's 60+ year history.

Newkirk Electric passed the rigorous certification process to receive the 2019 Gold Shovel Certification.

Newkirk Electric was selected as a winner of the AGC of America National Safety Award for its excellent safety performance for 2018.

NECA, the National Electrical Contractors Association, today announced its winners of the Safety Excellence Award for 2018. Both Newkirk Electric and its subsidiary Lakeland Electrical Services were recognized with the award for 2018 safety achievement.
